It has been a year now since I have been juicing celery almost every day. Celery has a powerful herbal extract that contains sodium cluster salts that strip toxic heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses out of the body helping to heal many chronic conditions. You do not get the same benefit from just eating stalks of celery as the sodium clusters come out only when it is extracted. Anthony William recommends drinking at least 16 ounces a day on an empty stomach first thing in the morning (before you brush your teeth) and waiting 30 minutes after you drink the juice before you eat or drink anything else. This gives the sodium cluster salts time to work their way through your body and cleanse the liver.
Organic celery is best whenever you can find it but during the COVID 19 pandemic it has been hard to come by, so I have bought conventional celery and washed it really well. Ideally, you want to drink it right away or prepare it the night before and put it in the fridge for no more than 24 hours. Drinking pure celery is the best rather than mixing it with other fruits or vegetables as you lose many of its powerful properties. Freshly juiced and organic is the way to go!
Celery juice improves oral health
Personally, I have seen tremendous benefits to drinking 16 ounces of celery juice a day. First off, I have suffered most of my life with soft gums and gingivitis and had 2 periodontal surgeries for receding gums in the last 10 year which is extremely painful. When I went to my six-month dental checkup for a cleaning after only 30 days of drinking celery juice, the dentist couldn’t believe how beautiful and healthy my gums looked. There was hardly any tartar on my teeth, and he thought that I was bleaching them as he said that they have never looked so white. I laughed and told him about the celery juice and of course, he didn’t believe me and thought I was using whitening strips.
Celery juice strengthens the entire immune system
Another huge benefit is that celery juice helps fight infections because of its antimicrobial properties which strengthens the entire immune system. Since I have been drinking celery for the last year, knock on wood, I have remained extremely healthy with not even a common cold after a harsh New England winter and traveling cross country multiple times.
Celery juice contains antioxidants and is an anti-inflammatory
Celery juice also contains flavonoids, which are very powerful phytonutrients with antioxidant (cancer fighting) properties. While this is no way a cure for cancer, those who are prone to cancer may want to consider integrating celery juice into their diet. And those with chronic joint pain or rheumatoid arthritis, there are benefits from drinking celery juice to help reduce symptoms because it is a natural anti-inflammatory.
Celery juice enhances digestion
If you have digestive issues, constipation, bloating or any sort of stomach issue, adding celery juice to your diet can potentially reverse these problems. This is because celery contains hydrochloric acid, which restores function and helps heal the gut. I have seen this firsthand by adding celery juice to my diet and essentially eliminating chronic stomach bloating which often comes after eating large meals.
The other benefit I have experienced is feeling more energetic especially now that I no longer drink coffee in the morning. I was feeling run down in the mornings and early afternoon. Likely caused by stomach acid levels being low thus making the body expend more energy to digest food. The combination of celery juice and my cup of green matcha tea has really helped give me that extra healthy boost that I need to start my day.
Celery juice contributes to weight loss
While celery juice isn’t a miraculous cure for weight loss, it can help you lose weight. This is because it reduces bloating and assists the rest of your body to function at an optimal level. For me, having lost 20% of my body weight and maintained it over the last year, I know that at least some of it has been attributed to the healing properties of this sacred vegetable.
